Open Mics - Jams & Karaoke in the Ottawa Valley
There were so many different Open Mics, Jams, Karaoke events and other entertainment in the Ottawa Valley Region before Covid19. Some venues have closed permanently or sold their businesses. Some venues are new like George's Bar & Grill in Munster that have started a new Jam on Saturdays. Please contact us to let us know of other Open Mics - Jams or Karaoke events that are still going or update us on their status.
We will update this calendar and list of Open Mics, Jams, Karaoke and other entertainment in the Ottawa Valley Region with your help. More venues will be opening over the next few weeks and months. Any information you have to share will be greatly appreciated.

Host: Raymond Girard and Ottawa Valley Musicians Ages: This is an older group of singers and musicians. Everyone is welcome but you will feel very comfortable as a senior at this venue. Performance Level: Beginner to Intermediate. You can perform solo or with the House Band. Normally two songs are permitted depending on the crowd. This event is well attended. House Band: The House Band is typically one drummer, one bass, one lead guitar player, rhythm guitar player, sometimes a pedal steel, piano player, horn or accordion. Cost: FREE Microphones: Bring your own is preferred but Mics are available.

Maryann and I invite you to join us for beer and jam at the Brauwerk-Hoffman Microbrewery in Rockland on Wednesday. Dinner and beer will be at 5 pm and jamming will be from 6 until 8 pm. Note that this is a dry acoustic jam with no amps, no mics, and no percussion. Musicians must be fully vaccinated and proof of vaccination is necessary. Brauwerk-Hoffman is located at unit 5, 733 Industrial St. Rockland (off Highway 17). Note that because of construction, you will need to enter by the subdivision street east of Industrial.
